This article will go over the basic steps that are necessary to Build an Insight on a form
Follow these steps:
- From the Dashboard, navigate towards the “Insights” Tab
- Click on the “Insights” Tab
- This will bring you to the Insights Page, where you can start building an Insight by clicking on the “New Insight” button in the top left corner of the screen
- This will open a module that will start the process of Building the Insight
- The first question on this module will be “Select Entity:”

- The second question will ask what form you want to Build the Insight on
- Click the dropdown and select the form you are looking to build the Insight on
- After selecting a form in the second question; the next 3 questions will appear
- Questions 3: Name – This is the Name that the Insight is given across the site
- Question 4: Description – This Description of the Insight will only appear in the Insight Tab, but should be used to further explain why the Insight is being created
- Question 5: Select Category – Selecting a Category is to help group your insight so managing Insights isn’t a tedious task
- Once all the questions have been filled out; You can click the “Create” button to create the structure of the Insight
- Once you click “Create”; This will start the Insight Configuration part of building an Insight which is required for the Insight to be used across the site.
- Once you enable the column/s you wish to appear in the Insight; Click the “Apply Changes” button in the bottom left corner of the Configuration Pop-out
- Once you do this; the columns will now populate with the data from a form submission that meet the criteria of the Insight
- At this point, the Insight is complete and will appear on your Dashboard and Insights Tab.
