01 | Integration to Production Intacct
Is your site currently integrated to an Intacct implementation/sandbox environment?
- If so, we will need to update to your production environment:
- Authorizing Our Integration as a Valid Web Service in Your Intacct Instance. To authorize our integration as a valid web service, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Company > Setup > Configuration > Company > Security
- Click Edit in the top right corner of the screen
- Scroll down to the Web Services Authorization section
- Click Add, then enter the Sender ID: "omnidekISVā
- Creating a Web User in Intacct for Integration. To create a Web User in Intacct that will serve as a proxy user for transactions, follow these steps:
- Go to Company > Admin > Users, Roles, and Groups > Web Services User.
- Click Add in the top right corner of the screen.
- Use "Integrations@omnidek.com" as the email address when creating the Web User.
- To ensure this Web User has the necessary permissions to execute transactions within our system:
- Assign it an Admin role, OR
- Create a tailored role with the appropriate permissions to support the required functionalities for your implementation and solution.
- Note: The web service user doesn't add towards the total user license count your instance. Their is an Intacct prompt saying that it does increase cost, but it doesn't.
- If so, we will need to delete the synced data from your site as well as resync the production data using the credentials you provide. This requires some planning and coordinating with our developer
- Authorizing Our Integration as a Valid Web Service in Your Intacct Instance. To authorize our integration as a valid web service, follow these steps:
02 | Publish Forms
- Once published, you will not be able to remove any questions for reporting and data integrity. You can always add questions and sections to the form once published.
- Upon publish, all previous submission will delete from the site.
03 | Add Users
- Users can be added manually using the admin > users tab
- Bulk users can be added by our team if provided the email address and organization
04 | Set Tags
- These can be managed at the user, organization, and crowd level
05 | Check Workflows and Action Nodes
- Are the correct people set as coordinators for the workflow?
- Are action nodes set to send data to Intacct?
06 | Assign Forms
- Can the right people access the form?
- Manage form assignment in the Form Designer
07 | Manage Permissions
- Manage the menu items to the left of the dashboard that your users will have available to them. You can manage these by organization using admin > organizations > permissions button on each organization.
