Omnidek supports Single Sign-On (SSO) through OpenID Connect (OIDC). OIDC allows users to authenticate to Omnidek using your organization's existing identity provider (IdP), such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Keycloak, or another OIDC-compatible authentication service.
What is SSO?
Single Sign-On allows users to access Omnidek using the same credentials they use for your organization's other applications. Instead of maintaining a separate Omnidek password, users are redirected to your organization's authentication provider to sign in.
Supported Authentication
Omnidek supports OIDC connections for custom authentication.
Examples of authentication providers that may support OIDC include:
- Okta
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Keycloak
- Auth0
- Duo
- Other OIDC-compliant identity providers
Your organization's identity provider must be configured to provide the required OIDC information.
Information Required for Setup
To configure your SSO connection, Omnidek will need the following information from your identity provider:
| Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Authorization URL | The URL used to begin the authentication process |
| Token URL | The URL used to exchange the authorization code for tokens |
| Scope | The OIDC scopes requested during authentication |
| Client ID | The client/application identifier provided by your identity provider |
| Client Secret | The secret associated with the OIDC application |
Callback URL
When configuring your OIDC application, add the following Omnidek callback URL to your identity provider:
https://omnidek.us.auth0.com/login/callback
Your identity provider may refer to this as the Callback URL, Redirect URI, or Sign-in Redirect URI.
Identify Your Authentication Provider
Please also provide the name of the authentication provider your organization uses.
Examples include:
- Okta
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Keycloak
- Duo
- Auth0
- Other OIDC-compatible providers
This information helps the Omnidek team understand your authentication configuration and complete the SSO setup.
