Question security is configured by organization and determines how users within that organization interact with the question.
Click the shield icon beside a question to open its security settings.
There are three available settings for each organization:
Is Hidden
When Is Hidden is enabled, the question does not load on the form for users in the selected organization.
Use this setting when an organization should not see a particular field.
Example: A vendor-facing organization may not need access to an internal classification field used by the accounting team.
Is Read Only
When Is Read Only is enabled, the question remains visible but cannot be edited.
The field appears grayed out on the form.
Use this when users should be able to review information without changing it.
Example: A vendor may be allowed to see their assigned Vendor ID but should not be able to modify it.
Is Required
When Is Required is enabled, users in the selected organization must complete the question before submitting the form.
If the question is missing a required value, Omnidek highlights it and prevents submission.
Example: You may require the accounting team to enter an internal classification that is not required from vendors.
